Lessons:

  1. Age is just a number
  2. Challenge your children by example
  3. Working your body and mind, for a balance in life.
  4. Finding the Death race ( be inquisitive).
  5. The themes embedded within the Death race have life long meanings.
  6. As in life these themes are part of the challenge.
  7. Think past the obvious, sometimes what you hear or see is only a part of the story.
  8. Challenge yourself to be your best, when you are at your worst.
  9. Don't fail to recognize your failures as potential success.
  10. There are times, when what is left unsaid, can be as important as what has been said.
  11. Achievements are meant to be celebrated, and learned from.
