More and more people with type 1 are using GLP-1 receptor agonists. You know these medications, with brand names like Ozempic, Mounjaro, Wegovy and Zepbound, but none of them are specifically approved to treat T1D. Griffin served as National Chair of the Board of the American Diabetes Association in 2011, and is the former Chair of the Association’s Legislative and Regulatory Subcommittee.
