Father's Care started in 1998 to aid street children in Kiev. They began with a soup kitchen and expanded to showers and English lessons, aiming to reunite children with their families. Over 20 years, they have successfully reintegrated over 500 children.
During the current war, Jane's team and 17 children evacuated to Germany. Despite the destruction, the charity is committed to returning and rebuilding their facilities to continue providing a nurturing environment and breaking the cycle of neglect.
The war has damaged their property, but the team's spirit is unbroken. They have formed strong partnerships and continue to support affected children and families. Jane's story is one of resilience and hope, emphasizing the importance of family and community in overcoming adversity.
Jane Hyatt is working with Father's Care, which is a special charity that works in the Ukraine. Father’s Care, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization devoted exclusively to supporting the All Ukrainian Charitable Fund - Father’s Care which is a non-profit, non-sectarian humanitarian organization that solely operates a rehabilitation center in Kyiv, Ukraine called the Ark.
