I’ve been looking forward to having my latest guest on the podcast and am so glad to be able to finally share my conversation with you. I’m speaking with Regan Stokes, the President of Pure Barre, the largest, most established barre franchise with more than 500 studios across North America. Pure Barre focuses on small movements that result in big changes and just celebrated its 20th anniversary.

While there many important takeaways from my conversation with Regan, here are some of my favorites:

  • Boutique fitness franchises like Pure Barre teach that exercise doesn’t have to look a certain way; in fact, the best workout is the one you’re going to enjoy and the one with which you’ll be consistent;
  • The mental and physical benefits of exercise far exceed that of making calories counts; focus instead on how exercise helps you feel energized, manage stress, and focus your energy in a positive direction;
  • A healthy living routine does not have to look the same all of the time; in fact, it might look different every week and that’s ok;
  • Healthy living means bringing balance and flexibility into your life, so that you can be aware of what works for you.
