8 Things You Can Do to Revitalize Your Spirit (Only choose 1 or 2)
- Go on a hike, often for me it was therapeutic because I could connect with nature but also because it burnt off pent up energy which allowed for my anxiety to go away.
- Meditate; When I would really utilize meditating, it would open up my mind and allow me to see deeper into myself and thus enabling to find out what I really wanted.
- Do some pushups; when I feel angry, or down I do pushups, but then again you could really do any exercise that allows you to burn energy.
- Eat some comfort food; Now don't over indulge yourself, but eat something that makes you feel warm and fuzzy inside... (mine personally is cheesecake)
- Take a nap; Naps can allow you to get some extra needed rest and some time away from people.
- Go for a car ride; Often I found myself able to burn off some steam, and feel better about myself and self reflect.
- Have a picnic with some friends; Picnics are fun, you have good food, and you can play some frisbee while you are at it.
- Listen to your favorite music; Music is often therapeutic for people, and when you hear that right song, it can change your mood in no time at all.
