Caledon OPP continues to conduct focused traffic enforcement along Caledon roads to ensure safe travel for all motorists. In just six days, officers laid 13 charges against five individuals after traffic investigations, including: • Driving while under suspension • Failure to surrender insurance card • Drive motor vehicle, no currently validated permit • Passenger, fail to properly wear seat belt • Fail to stop on right for emergency vehicle • Operate a motor vehicle without insurance

ROAD CLOSURE: Centerville Creek Road is closed in both directions between Castlederg Sideroad and Healey Road due to a serious single-vehicle collision involving a pick up truck. A hydro pole is down. Expect a lengthy closure.

BOLTON WATER BAN LIFTED

Watermain repairs north of Mayfield Road on Coleraine Drive are now complete, and water levels in the Bolton system have returned to normal. With repairs finished, the water restrictions have been lifted and residents and businesses may resume normal water use. Final restoration and paving in the Coleraine Drive and Mayfield Road area will be completed on Tuesday, August 12. Localized road closures will remain in place until then.
