Nutritional Value
Hi All, Episode 4 is a little different than what I had planned for, and that's okay. I chose to make this episode first before "Binaries of Value" after reading a paper by my friend Dr. Dylan Harris on "Ruin and Ruination in our Political Ecology." Although it was an introduction, and I would recommend reading the special issue in its entirety, I was inspired by the power dynamics of ruination and what the thought of "Ruin" does to the value(s) of a person. Since most cultures surviving today are subjects of ruination from an Eurasian Dominant Power Structure (White Identity) I felt it...

Nutritional Value Episode 3 is out! This episode is the first solo episode, where we discuss the value of having better models or constructs for our daily lives. We look into where our defined models or constructs for ourselves are at and where those levels of safety are placed. Often keeping in mind that, the levels one is willing to keep or stay at within a model to provide them safety often hurts more than helps them, stagnation within a model often stunts the growth process. I hope you enjoy this episode, and be sure to subscribe to the Substack for more content. ...

Second Episode, we made it! For this episode I invited my friend Kayla to sit with me. I wanted the episode to be about death and not just death in a mono defining form but death in all its parts, and how embracing those parts often leads to a greater rebirth. Death is another topic that I feel is a cornerstone of this podcast and of nutritional value as a whole; allowing us to create and destroy and to release the old bringing in the new. My hope is that with this episode and every other episode we move to reevaluate where our values lie and ask "Am I improving or am I just sustaining?"...

For this first episode, I had my friend Caroline sit with me to discuss today's topic. I wanted the episode to be about love and more importantly, “self love” because I feel that it is the basis of this podcast and of nutritional value as a whole. Having listeners hear this episode and look at where their levels self love or worth are and where their values are at. Releasing this episode during June and PRIDE month was important for me because, for me PRIDE is about self-worth and the love one gives themselves to survive and eventually thrive. My hope is that this episode moves...
info_outlineHi All,
Episode 4 is a little different than what I had planned for, and that's okay. Since most cultures surviving today are subjects of ruination from an Eurasian Dominant Power Structure (White Identity) I felt it would be moving too fast to speak on "values" and their binaries under a mono-ideated culture without looking into how those values are typically shaped within our Eurasian Dominant Power Structure. I hope you enjoy this episode, as always thanks for tuning in and feeding more than your body.
