We’re talking about walleye today, and this episode has a BINGO theme. Background: Some people like to live in or visit Perrysburg because they like to fish the Spring Walleye Run. If you’re not from around here, the term “walleye run” refers to the annual migration of walleye, which is a tasty game fish. Walleye migrate up the Maumee River to spawn (or lay eggs) every Spring. Walleye are well-known throughout NW Ohio, especially in Toledo. (Their minor league hockey team is called The Walleye, and one of their mascots is a yellow walleye named “Spike.”) Every March...

I invited Dr. Nick to be on the podcast today because he and his staff have helped me (and my family) over the years, and I want to introduce him to you. His journey into chiropractic care began during his undergraduate studies in Business Management at The University of Michigan – Dearborn. Battling chronic allergies, eczema, and back pain, Dr. Nick found little relief through traditional medicine. It was only through neurologically-focused chiropractic care that he experienced a transformative healing journey, sparking his commitment to this field.
Today, Dr. Nick is an International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA) Certified Pediatric Chiropractor, uniquely skilled in providing gentle, effective care for children, expectant mothers, and individuals of all ages. His mission is to empower families to achieve optimal health and wellness through personalized, holistic care. With a deep commitment to his patients and community, Dr. Nick continues to inspire healthier, happier lives one adjustment at a time.
How I met Dr. Nick
After lifting something heavy ~10 years ago, I hurt my back. I had numbness and tingling in my right arm (and my right hand) for at least two weeks. I didn’t do anything about it at first because I thought it would go away on its own. When it didn’t (go away on its own)…I got scared. After talking to my friend Patty about the issue, she recommended Dr. Nick at Innate Health Chiropractic. When I was finally ready to ask for help, Dr. Nick and his wife were there for me. After a few adjustments, the numbness and tingling resolved, but I have remained a patient for general health and wellness reasons.
