This is the #1 piece of wisdom I learned about self-advocacy during a family crisis I experienced earlier this year and might change your or a family member's life. This is a very personal episode where I share my personal experience with self-advocacy in a short seven min. Topics covered include crisis, medical care, medical negligence and mental health. I hope that this episode inspires you to self-advocate but please note it's very short and there are still many nuances that I'm aware cannot be discussed at length.
