The Good, The Bad And The Unwatchable
We got TWO moms back in the studio for this one! Join us as we discuss A Christmas Story 2, A Christmas Story Christmas, Christmas with the Kranks, Eloise at Christmastime, and more! Thanks as always to Esquared for the podcast art, and to Tech and James of Death's Dynamic Shroud for lending us their music! The show no longer has a Twitter account for pretty obvious reasons, but you can wonder why there aren't more updates to the blog at anytime! Thanks for listening, and we hope your holiday season is warm and bright!
info_outline Candyman (and Candyman 2021)The Good, The Bad And The Unwatchable
This time around we talk about some spoooky stuff, even though I missed getting this out on time for Halloween. I've already forgotten what we go on about in the beginning, except for like, Fear Street 1994. But eventually we get to the meet: 1992's Candyman and 2021's...Candyman. One good. One bad. One cameo appearance from Brooke. One running gag. It's an episode. You can follow the show on Twitter @GBUpodcast and visit the website at for show notes and more extra content. This classic 10th episode was originally posted on 3/26/2016 with the following description: In this insane DOUBLE-DIGIT episode, we look at David Twohy's "The Chronicles of Riddick" and Sion Sono's "Love Exposure". This episode is a weird one, and it's absolute gold. NSFW, Spoilers! Follow us on Twitter @GBUpodcast! You can rate and review us on iTunes! Reaching #10 means we're in it for the long haul, doesn't it? Go on, it's safe to tell a friend.

Our first ever podcast crossover! info_outline Crimes of the FutureThe Good, The Bad And The Unwatchable
The second (apparently) episode of this year, wherein Adam and I discuss The Kindergarten Teacher, touch lightly upon River of Fundament, get canceled for mentioning video essay What if JK Rowling Is Right About Everything?, and ultimately discuss the new David Cronenberg film, Crimes of the Future, starring Viggo Mortensen, Léa Seydoux, and Kristen Stewart. And if that wasn't podcast enough for you, I've recorded an entire other podcast which will be dispatched with great haste. I we apologize for being so late in the year, but GBU, as is tradition, is back, baby.
info_outline Catchup '22The Good, The Bad And The Unwatchable
Jon, Brooke and Adam join Brian to discuss a regular smorgasbord of films, including Spider-Man: No Way Home, The Green Knight, The Lighthouse, Licorice Pizza, Boogie Nights, and more in this helplessly directionless episode. Audio troubles persist, but a good time will be had by all. Try to guess which host is on drugs during the recording! info_outlineWe have another episode that is less concerned with movies than it is concerned with being living, unscripted ART. Bear with us.
This time around we manage to pretend to talk about 1977's Suspiria, original zombie flick Night of the Living Dead, modern classic The Descent, some shit Adam watched called Border and St. Maud, childhood cash-in Fear Street: 1994, and the re-reboot-sequel no one asked for, Halloween Kills. It is also stated, without elaboration, that a couple of us had seen Dune as of the time of this recording (stay tuned for more on that).
