Carol's tale will transport you from the landscapes of El Salvador to the streets of California, where her parents sought refuge from economic hardships. As undocumented immigrants, they tirelessly worked to provide a better life for Carol and her siblings, driven by an unwavering belief in their children's potential for financial independence.
