Note: This is a rebroadcast of episode 26, first published on January 7, 2015.

In 2014 I had the privilege of interviewing Ann Fonfa. Ann was the founder of the Annie Appleseed Project and the Complementary and Alternative Cancer Therapies Conference.

Ann was a 32 year breast cancer survivor who championed research, development and implementation of alternative and complementary cancer therapies.

Sadly, Ann passed away in February of 2024.

Ann taught me to advocate for my own health. She also taught me that my metastatic breast cancer diagnosis is not a death sentence. It’s a license to live life on my terms, permission to give back and to pay forward.

Ann Fonfa touched thousands of lives and left a lasting legacy.

I’m humbled to once again share Annie’s story.
