Pedro Teixeira, MD, PhD, is the Co-founder and CEO of PredictionHealth, a Prompt company that is addressing one of healthcare's fundamental challenges: clinical documentation. Under his leadership since 2017, PredictionHealth developed an AI platform that delivers analytics to power better organizational performance and a documentation assistant that turns patient-provider conversations into compliant documentation so clinicians can focus more on patient care. Dr. Teixeira’s expertise in biomedical informatics was honed during his time as an MD/PhD candidate at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where he collaborated with leaders in biomedical informatics. Before this, he earned a Master’s degree in Biomedical Informatics from Vanderbilt University and a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemical Sciences and Computer Science from Harvard University.
