Her journey began in the early 1990s as an organic farmer at The Evergreen State College in Olympia, Washington. Surrounded by medicinal plants and the rhythm of the natural world, Jody developed a deep respect for the earth and its ability to nourish and heal. That connection grew into a passion for plants and in 2000, Wild Carrot Herbals was born.
Rooted in whole plants, biodynamic practices, and a fierce love for the land, Jody’s formulations reflect a belief that skincare should be as nourishing as the earth it comes from. With a background in midwifery and a lifelong commitment to holistic health, she’s crafted products to care for the sensitive, the mindful, and the curious. From healing cracked gardener’s hands to soothing delicate baby skin, Jody’s work is about more than skincare. It’s a celebration of resilience, kindness, and the wild beauty that surrounds us all.
