He has been recognized by the Canadian Physiotherapy Association with a Lifetime Membership and is the first recipient (1998) of the David Lamb Memorial Award - The Golden Hands Award. These awards recognize his global lifetime contributions but do not highlight his direct effect on opening the minds and facilitating the passion of thousands of his students and colleagues. He is truly an original thinker and one of the nicest guys you will ever meet. His 53-year career as a practicing clinician has not stopped his thirst to know more as he continues to investigate, question the material, and offer a thoughtful point of view.
