The Just Keep Reaching Show
Want to know one of the biggest reasons people don't buy? They don't trust you enough yet. You can have an incredible product. You can offer a service that genuinely changes people's lives. You can have the perfect sales presentation, know every closing technique, and understand your product inside and out. But none of that guarantees someone will hand you their money. Because before most people make a buying decision, they need to believe a few things. They need to believe you're credible. They need to understand what you're offering. They need to believe your solution can actually help them....

The richest person I know drives a 10-year-old truck. He hasn't missed one of his children's games in six years. On Saturdays, he's unreachable. Not because he's hiding. Not because he's trying to escape his responsibilities. Because he's built a business that doesn't need him every second of every day. Twice a year, he takes a real vacation. No laptop. No checking emails. No constant phone calls. He could disappear for a month and his company would continue operating. And here's the interesting part. He's nowhere near the highest earner I know. I know business owners making five times what he...
info_outlineThe Just Keep Reaching Show
You can spend 45 minutes building an incredible sales conversation. You ask the right questions. You understand the prospect's problem. You demonstrate your solution. You build trust. Everything seems to be moving in the right direction. Then you say one thing that completely changes the conversation. “Are you serious?” “I disagree.” “That's impossible.” “We can't do that.” Suddenly, the person who was engaged and excited starts pulling back. And sometimes, you don't even realize what happened. Your words changed the direction of the conversation. In this episode of the Just...

You just spent an hour on a sales call. You asked the questions. You uncovered the problem. You explained your solution. You built trust. The prospect seems interested. Everything is going great. Then you ask for the sale. And they hit you with: “I need to talk to my business partner.” Or maybe it's: “I need to run this by my wife.” “I have to check with my boss.” “I need approval from someone else.” Now you've got another call to schedule, another person to convince, and a deal that was never actually ready to close. Here's the question I want you to ask yourself: Why didn't...
info_outlineThe Just Keep Reaching Show
"When should I go for the close?" I get asked that question all the time. Should I ask now? Should I wait? Do I need to explain more? What if they say no? What if I push too early and lose the deal? Here's the problem. If you're constantly guessing when to close, there's probably something missing in your sales process. Closing shouldn't feel like you're throwing a Hail Mary and hoping somebody catches it. It should be the natural next step in a conversation where you've already established the things that matter. And that's exactly what we're breaking down in this episode. Because great...

You can have the best sales presentation in the world. The perfect script. The perfect offer. A great product. But if the person sitting across from you doesn't believe what you're selling can actually solve their problem, you're going to have a difficult time closing that deal. People don't buy what they don't believe in. And one of the biggest mistakes I see salespeople make is trying to push someone toward a buying decision before they've established that belief. They start handling objections. They start explaining pricing. They start talking about payment options. They start pushing for...

A lot of high performers think productivity means never stopping. Finish the emails. Immediately jump into calls. Finish the calls. Go straight into another project. Then another meeting. Then another task. No break. No reset. No room for your brain to shut one thing down before starting the next. I used to work exactly like that. And by the end of the day? I was drained. Not because I wasn’t capable of doing the work. Because I never gave myself a chance to recover between the work. In this episode, I break down something incredibly simple that made a big difference in how I manage my time...
info_outlineThe Just Keep Reaching Show
“I just don’t have enough time.” I hear that constantly. Not enough time to grow the business. Not enough time to make the calls. Not enough time to work out. Not enough time for family. Not enough time to get everything done. But before you decide you need more hours in the day, I want you to do something: Track the hours you already have. In this episode, I walk through a simple time-management strategy I’ve used to become much more intentional with my day: 15-minute blocks. Take a sheet of paper. Start at whatever time you wake up. 5:00 AM. 6:00 AM. Whatever your schedule looks...
info_outlineThe Just Keep Reaching Show
Everybody says family comes first. I usually believe them. Then I look at their calendar. And that's where things get interesting. Because you can tell me your family is your biggest priority. You can tell me your health matters. You can tell me you're building a business so you can have more freedom. But if I look at the last two weeks of your schedule and can't find those things anywhere, we need to have a different conversation. Your calendar reveals what you actually prioritize. Not what you hope to prioritize. Not what you keep telling yourself you'll make time for. What you're really...

One of the fastest ways to slow down your business is to try to do everything at once. A new opportunity pops up. Someone else launches something that looks cool. You see another business owner using a different strategy. A new automation comes out. Somebody tells you about another way to make money. And suddenly, instead of building your business, you’re looking everywhere except at the thing you already said mattered. That’s the problem. You have to keep the main thing the main thing. In this episode, I talk about why focus is one of the most important skills an entrepreneur can develop....
info_outline“Are my goals too big?”
I hear some version of that question all the time.
My answer is simple: your goals aren’t too big.
The bigger problem is that most people either give up before they’ve done enough work to reach them, or they’re trying to chase so many different goals at once that they never give themselves a real chance to accomplish any of them.
There’s a massive difference between having one huge goal and having too many goals.
In this episode, I break down why I believe you should set goals that force you to grow into a different version of yourself—and why accomplishing them requires a lot more than writing something on a vision board and hoping it happens.
It takes belief.
It takes focus.
It takes sacrifice.
And it takes a ridiculous amount of work.
Especially in business and entrepreneurship.
I also get into something that has shaped the way I’ve approached my own life: Just Keep Reaching.
That phrase isn't just a business name or something I put at the end of a post. It has followed me through foster care, being adopted, the military, entrepreneurship, building businesses, and every season where quitting would've been easier than continuing forward.
The goal has always been to keep reaching for the next level.
In this episode, I cover:
-
Why I don't believe your goals can be “too big”
-
The danger of trying to accomplish too many goals at once
-
Why scattered focus destroys progress
-
How unfinished goals can slowly destroy your confidence
-
Why belief in yourself, your product, and your service matters
-
Turning one massive goal into actionable daily steps
-
Why vague goals rarely produce meaningful results
-
The amount of work and sacrifice entrepreneurship actually requires
-
Learning to enjoy the process instead of only chasing the outcome
-
Why your biggest competition should be the person you were yesterday
-
What Just Keep Reaching actually means to me
There will be hard days.
There will also be days where everything seems to click.
Neither one changes the mission.
Keep the bigger vision in front of you. Break it down into something you can execute today. Stop measuring your progress against everybody around you.
And when you finally reach the goal?
Set another one that scares you a little more.
Compete against yourself.
Find out what you're actually capable of.
And Just Keep Reaching.
