More Episodes

Thank you for tuning in for another episode of Life’s Best Medicine. Triple J has an amazing and inspiring story of hope. He found himself in a place of severe depression, in poor health, and in physical pain after going through a divorce. He was overweight and losing faith that he could ever recover when he heard the voice of God. In that moment of divine grace Triple J found the strength to take his first steps toward recovery with God’s help.

In this conversation, Brian and Triple J discuss the human need for God and for His help, why pride is such a barrier to faith, why it is important to speak the truth, the necessity of community for perseverance toward the goal, the power and freedom of receiving God’s forgiveness and of forgiving yourself, why failing to give God glory is a critical failure, the damage we do to ourselves and to others when we judge based on what we see on the surface, and seeking understanding rather than being overly critical.

Life’s Best Medicine According to Triple J: “Life is ‘Life’s Best Medicine.’ To be able to wake up every day with the opportunity to do something better and greater than yesterday—that is ‘Life’s Best Medicine.’ The opportunity to wake up again. Once you get that opportunity to wake up, now you have taken the power in your hands. If you can ever tap into that appreciation, that gratitude for just waking up in the morning, then you have figured everything out.”

Thank you for listening. Have a blessed day and stay healthy!
