Diluted Hyponatremia
This was the cause of death for a woman who was in a radio contest entitled “Hold Your Wee For A Wii!” As a result of drinking too much water, there was a fatal shift in electrolytes in this woman’s body. Her blood became so dilute that vital organs could not get any of the needed electrolytes, resulting in organ shutdown and then organ failure.
