2333 - Trump: Women Protector(?) & the Key State Elections This Fall w/ Aaron Kleinman

It's News Day Tuesday! Sam and Emma speak with Aaron Kleinman, director of research for the States Project at Future Now, to discuss the biggest state legislature races coming up in November. First, Sam and Emma run through updates on Israel’s mass slaughter in Lebanon, US troop presence in the Middle East, Harris’ lead in Michigan and Wisconsin, Nebraska’s sole electoral vote, GOP controversy, Missouri’s death penalty, VISA’s potential anti-trust violation, Exxon’s lies, UNWRA funding, and climate change, before watching Trump muse on his divine feminism, and diving a little deeper into Israel’s reign of terror on Lebanon. After expanding on the States Project’s project, how they assess the needs of different candidates and races, and unpacking the major funding gaps in funding for Democratic candidates on the federal and state levels, Kleinman highlights Wisconsin’s myriad tight races in the wake of redistricting and wraps up by touching on the potential Mark Robinson effect in North Carolina.
