info_outlineEarly April Fools Greetings!!! I bet you thought there wasn't going to be a March episode. Well, you're an idiot.
First I talk with Boston comedian and host of the TV Guidance Counselor podcast Ken Reid. Ken is an avid movie collector, TV taper, and all around wonderful man. We also dig into our shared love of WSBK TV-38's The Movie Loft hosted by Dana Hersey. PAPA DANA!!
Then I talk to writer/director Alex Ross Perry who made the must watch documentary Videoheaven about the history of videostores as depcited in film & TV. He's also a former employee of Kim's Video, which we discuss.
And in between I take a trip to Static Tape Video and their horror-con tape-swap Michigan Is Dead in Muskegon, MI. While I was there I talked with Static Tape's owner Harrison, Bruce from Bloody Knife Video, Kozmo from Cosmic Debris VHS, Patrick from KZOO Video Vault, and Joe Bob Briggs and Darcy the Mail Girl formerly of The Last Drive-In on Shudder.
It's an epic episode, if this episode was a VHS it would need THREE tapes. Suck it, Titanic.
