Matt Uses His History Degree
Matt finally goes into his first passion and talks about the 1st Minnesota Infantry Regiment during the American Civil War and their actions at the battle of Gettysburg. He neglects to talk about his childhood where he had a civil war uniform he made along with a sword made out of a hockey stick but is including that in the show description. If you wanna read more on this, check out The Last Full Measure by Richard Moe and Pale Horse at Plum Orchard by Leehan. Anyways. I did a lot of editing on it, it came out okay.

Wow, another episode, heroic. Anyways, this is on the Erie Railroad War, features a lot of hilariously expensive gilded age financial flim-flams, scams, double-backs, cons, swindles, bunkos, hoaxes over control of a railroad that takes you to Niagara Falls. Ties in nicely with recent crypto scams, Elon Musk, and other SEO terms (supreme court). I forgot how to log into the website for awhile to upload this.

If you would like to support the protestors, might I suggest giving a donation here. It'll split it equally between all the charities and funds that are helping the protestors across the country.
also, there are a ton of sources for this one, so if you want the notes for all of those, let me know and I'll get them for you. but for now, to get your feet wet check out "The Rise of the Warrior Cop" by Radley Balko, and "Do Not Resist" a documentary. they're both good.
Anyways, this one is about police militarization in the United States and how it relates to what we are experiencing now with police brutality and #BLM. Check it out if you want, or dont .
