Statement of Need
This program will be a continuation of the discussion on pediatric hypertension. A prior podcast discussed the symptoms and diagnosis. This podcast will focus on effective treatment strategies. With the increase of childhood obesity and other risk factors, research has concluded a direct correlation to an increase in high blood pressure. At the conclusion of this offering, the participant will be able to:
- Define Stages 1 and 2 of hypertension for adolescent patients.
