This week, we have my friend Richard Johnson, who goes by Chi. Chi and I met a few years ago at a sound bathing retreat, and he was one of the teachers. I gravitated towards his philosophy and the lessons he taught through sound. Fortunately, we maintained a friendship and were able to meet once again this summer in Minnesota. Before the podcast, we spent some time playing sound bowls, gongs, and my new favorite, the harmonium. Amongst the Minnesota nature, surrounded by trees and wetlands, the breathwork paired with sound bathing made for a perfect afternoon before getting behind the...

This week we have the smooth, soft-spoken, prominent-hearted legend, Jakob Junis. It has taken quite awhile to get the big fella on the podcast, but the winds finally made it in our favor. As he was in Minnesota to play the Twins, nature called for rain and thunderstorms. With the cancellation of a ball game, the boys got to sit down, have coffee, and talk about life. Junis is a family man who knows his way around Major League Baseball. With parts of nine seasons in the show, we break down the path. His ability to articulate his early days in the league to where he is now relates to many...

This week, we have Darin Ruf on the show. Coach Ruf is currently coaching with the Omaha Mavericks. Previously, he was navigating life in Major League Baseball. With a career that took him across the country, he even found himself overseas. Spending a few years playing in Korea, Darin had a long and successful 15-year professional career. He brings a unique perspective with 9 seasons in the Major Leagues as he embarks on life after ball. We do a bit of storytelling and exchanging lessons, which turned our talk to lean more philosophical. Darin deep dives into the recognition of a...

Ben and I have a friendship that goes back to college. From those days to now, our relatioinship has been built on seeking truth and expanding our thoughts through faith. I have enjoyed watching Father Ben take his faith to the highest degree over the years and be a resource for many.
This conversation is a peek into the experiences we've had and spaces we've shared. I've leaned heavily on Ben throughout my adult life for understanding and comprehension of the Bible. I feel as though this meeting only scratches the surface of where we may go in the future. For now, this is our first recorded conversation, which I feel you will enjoy!
One love.
