We also talk about what its like to grow up trad climbing, and how to deal with fear on a scary lead. Pete Whittaker has trad climbed all around the world and has ticks of many a painful crack climb under his belt. A few of the climbs we talk about include his rope solo ascent of Freerider, a 12d on El Capitan, and the Crucifix, another horizontal crack project. Enjoy!
