In this episode, I challenge the notion that healing must be a heavy, burdensome experience. Instead, I advocate for a lighter approach, where we can learn to feel our emotions without being overwhelmed by them. Throughout the episode, I discuss the concept of nervous system regulation and how it plays a crucial role in our healing journey. I explain that healing does not necessitate a complete pause in our lives; rather, it involves training our minds to respond differently to triggers and challenges. By embracing emotions and learning to navigate them, we can create a sense of safety and...

In this episode, I am thrilled to share my reflections following the Outspoken Master Practitioner immersion, a transformative six-day experience where we practiced and experienced the tools of NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming). This was my first time leading such an intensive program, and while it came with its challenges, I emerged with invaluable insights about myself and my coaching practice. I also touch on the subconscious mind's inclination to cling to familiar patterns, even if they lead to exhaustion. I highlight the significance of pausing and integrating our experiences rather than...

In this episode we discuss:
1) Learning to understand our nervous system, how to see when it is regulated and when it isn't, what that looks like, the effect it has on all of our relationships and how to take the small, consistent steps to learn how to regulate it.
2) The pain our body can trap for years, the inability of the body to pull back from our nervous system responses and how persistent increasing stress levels, only exacerbates our body's response to pain.
3) The process of learning how to let go, allowing our body to stabilize, then let go again and stabilize. This process of letting go and creating stability also allows our body to find a neutral state to return to instead of constantly rebounding between the two extremes.
