Own Your Choices Own Your Life
In this episode, I discuss a question: What if being delusional is your best strategy? I explore the idea that to be an entrepreneur, you often need to hold beliefs that may not align with current reality. This "delusional" mindset allows you to envision possibilities that others may not see, which is crucial when you're building a business, writing a book, or creating something new. Throughout the episode, I emphasize that not everyone is meant to understand your vision, and that's perfectly okay. I encourage listeners to gather evidence of their past successes and to shift their definitions...

In this episode, I share thoughts on how our confidence can sometimes trigger the insecurities of those around us, leading them to shrink back instead of celebrating our growth. This dynamic is rooted in our individual beliefs and past experiences, which shape how we perceive the world. I open up about my own vulnerabilities and the misconceptions that many aspiring writers face when they struggle to put pen to paper. I start by addressing a common sentiment among writers: the confusion about how subconscious rewiring relates to the writing process. In this episode, I am sharing the process of embracing big visions and the fears that often accompany them. I start by sharing a personal anecdote from 2016 when I first received the idea to write my solo book. The initial excitement was quickly overshadowed by fear and skepticism from those around me, which led me to caution against sharing my ideas too freely. I reflect on my experience with launching my NLP coaching certification, Outspoken, where I had to build everything from scratch without any proof of concept. A mentor pointed out the difference between that experience and my current...

In this episode, I address a common question: how do we shift our thinking? I emphasize that while the concept may be simple, the execution is often challenging. I share my personal experience of being in a crisis and how it forced me to reevaluate my choices and control over my life. I encourage listeners to consider how they want to show up in their lives, especially as we approach the end of the year. I discuss the importance of setting realistic goals and focusing on what we want rather than what we don’t want. Many people struggle to articulate their desires, often fixating on their...

In this episode we discuss:
1) Learning to understand our nervous system, how to see when it is regulated and when it isn't, what that looks like, the effect it has on all of our relationships and how to take the small, consistent steps to learn how to regulate it.
2) The pain our body can trap for years, the inability of the body to pull back from our nervous system responses and how persistent increasing stress levels, only exacerbates our body's response to pain.
3) The process of learning how to let go, allowing our body to stabilize, then let go again and stabilize. This process of letting go and creating stability also allows our body to find a neutral state to return to instead of constantly rebounding between the two extremes.
