info_outlineIn this episode, I am sharing some thoughts on walking in someone else’s shoes.
To walk a mile in someone else's shoes means before judging someone, you must understand his experiences, challenges, thought processes, etc. We never know someone’s full story especially when we think we do, we don’t.
In today’s episode we discuss:
1) This is one of the most common questions I hear on podcasts as a guest, and it is “how do you navigate the judgement and criticism of others when you share your story?” I often say if they are not in the arena with me, on the floor of the arena, then I am not interested in their opinions.
2) Seeing a story from someone else’s point of view has given me more perspective, more empathy and allowed me to grow as a person.
