Own Your Choices Own Your Life
In this episode, I share some thoughts on bitterness and how it can become a shell you never intended to build or create. The weight of bitterness will spill into everyone else and become a toxin that only further affects and impacts you in your life and how you show up. This was inspired by “The Mindshift” book by Erwin Raphael McMcanus |In today’s episode, we discuss: 1) Bitterness starts when we cling to anger and resentment and start holding a grudge. Instead of responding with forgiveness or love, we may let our negative emotions grow and treat others with...

In this episode, I am sharing an answer to a question I was asked as a recent podcast guest on my friend Fallon’s podcast, Prosperity By Design, and she asked me a question that had me reflecting. She was a guest on my show back in 2021, a little over 400 episodes ago, crazy I know, and she said she was listening to a few recent episodes and wanted to share how much my confidence, and certainty in my voice have changed. She wanted to know what I had done differently. I wanted to share my thoughts and answers. In today’s episode, we discuss: 1) I actually think I have...

In this episode, I am sharing the tools of NLP, subconscious reprogramming, and how these tools have changed how I operate in my life and business over the last 3 years. I don’t even recognize myself, and I smile when I see those old versions show up again. Now this is not a slam myself moment, because that is not productive at all. I wanted to share how these tools have made a huge difference in my life and business and maybe you will see yourself in my story. In today’s episode, we discuss: 1) NLP, neurolinguistic programming, came into my life around 10 years ago, although I had...

In this episode, I am sharing the tools of NLP, subconscious reprogramming, and understanding how your subconscious mind works. It literally doesn’t understand time, at the subconscious level, the mind remembers everything and it can travel time. Our subconscious mind is constantly trying to protect us, keep us safe, and prevent us from feeling pain. So you might hear that you have to stay present with your thoughts, yet sometimes that doesn’t feel possible. Here’s a permission slip to see your thoughts differently, give yourself some grace and know that your mind is trying...

In this episode, I am leaning into the tools of NLP, subconscious reprogramming, and understanding the power of your thoughts, what if you thought of thoughts as clouds instead of plants? Clouds move, they come in and go, they never stay and they don’t anchor in place. Plants take up space, they grow roots, get stronger, take water, and nourishment, and gain life, and will eventually take over if you don’t take care of them. In today’s episode, we discuss: 1) Let’s back it up and look at what a belief is. A belief is simply a thought that you continue to...

info_outlineIn this episode, I am sharing some thoughts from a previous masterclass on how to share a story authentically and what authentic storytelling is. When it comes to sharing a story, writing a book, or even building an online brand it comes from who you are as a person, what you have walked through and knowing that you are your brand. It’s important to learn how to share it authentically.
In today’s episode we discuss:
1) Start with discovering your authentic story. What makes you unique, what experiences, stories, emotions and lessons have you learned that have shaped you into the person you are today. What moments have defined you? What values and beliefs do you hold true to your core and how can you share that and embrace vulnerability in an open and genuine way.
2) Cultivating authenticity in the world of social media. This starts with embracing your uniqueness, expressing your true self, your quirks, passions and authentic voice, this is how you attract an audience that resonates with your true essence. This requires you to be transparent, honest and open about your journey, and showing the imperfections. This also requires healthy boundaries, and regular check in’s with yourself.
2) Storytelling is an art, it carries a lot of immense power, personal power to inspire, connect and create change and it is important that we maintain the integrity of the narratives that we share. Integrity also means being mindful of the responsibility of our stories and to use our stories as a force for positive change, shedding light on important topics.
