Ep. 50: Elephant Matters: PETA's Fight To Help Elephants

THE PETA PODCAST

Release Date: 01/09/2019

Elephants are still in captivity in roadside zoos and travelling shows across America, and slowly laws are being passed to ban wild animal acts.

But established zoos like the one in Pittsburgh, Penn. are now turning to artificial insemination, only adding to the horrors of captivity. They are creating a new generation of enslaved elephants.

Rachel Mathews. the PETA Foundation's  Deputy director of Captive Animal Law Enforcement, talks with Emil Guillermo about that and other elephant matters.
