Catie is a leadership development specialist who works with teams and organizations to shift their current cultures to ones that are value aligned, relationally sound, healthier and more productive. She’s been doing this work in the pediatric health care system for over ten years and adores what she’s learned and how she’s now able to translate her skills into her own coaching business.
Catie is a woman I’ve gotten to know through the mastermind I joined this year with Alyssa Nobriga. In this episode, Catie and I talk a lot about the transformations we’ve experienced through masterminds and how scary those decisions to invest have been. We also dive deep into Catie’s spiritual awakening she had that led her to really question her identity and if it was truly the real her.
Over the last year she’s really taken a good look into the mirror to discover that she was wearing a lot of masks and not letting herself show the full range of herself and her emotions. She dealt with anxiety, depression, guilt, and many periods of darkness in the last year to get where she is today, feeling fully aligned with herself and her new business.
Catie is one of those rare cases of someone who actually loves her job but she came to the realization last year that there could be MORE to life than what she was living. More than the 9-5 grind. More than the conditioned patterns we’ve been taught to follow.
I love this interview because Catie is such an authentic, warm presence and she truly shares what it’s been like to start her coaching business over the last year. The struggles, the doubt, the anxiety, the fear, everything that comes along with it and how she’s been able to grow from it.
