Barbara from Metaco brings us into her currently reality and how moving online has some distinct benefits, although many challenges do present in the coaching relationship. This episode is a good one for Coaches, especially those interested in a systemic approach. Barbara, who works closely with Peter Hawkins and now David Clutterbuck, provides meaningful discussion across a number of coaching touch points.

Barbara Walsh

Barbara Walsh is Managing Director of Metaco, a globally connected consultancy and the recognised leader in Systemic Leadership Team solutions in Africa.

With extensive experience and a solid track record working across different industries, Barbara has an in-depth knowledge of what it takes to plan strategically in the face of an uncertain future, to build relationships at all levels, and partner across stakeholder groups in service of a common purpose. ​ Her clients are leadership teams and individual leaders in many parts of the world, for whom success depends on their ability to navigate systemic complexity, collaborate at multiple levels, and achieve results through rapid change.

Barbara has an MSc in Coaching and Behavioural Change through Henley Business School in the UK and is registered as a Master HR Practitioner: Learning and Development with the SA Board for People Practices (SABPP). ​Her other credentials include the Master Practitioner Diploma in Systemic Team Coaching, Meta-Coaching, and she is an NLP Master Practitioner.

Passionate about learning, Barbara enjoys reading and travelling and enjoys spending time outdoors and in nature.
