In this final episode of the FTS season, I’m taking a fresh, dramatic look at the state of AD. It’s an artistic exploration of how audio description went from a promising, groundbreaking career path to something threatened by AI and text-to-speech. To do this, we're taking on the true crime genre, but the case is about Audio Description itself. Follow or subscribe wherever you get podcasts. Transcripts available at ReidMyMind.com. For the past few years, the summer season has been dedicated to Flipping the Script on Audio Description. Even though I've been gone for a minute, we're continuing with that tradition. In the upcoming episodes we'll continue to explore AD and in general access to video content all through a Blind Centered approach. Simply put, centering the Blind and low vision AD consumers in the conversation. I'm excited to be back producing episodes and in conversation with the Reid My Mind Radio Family. Hit play and I'll drop another episode later in July.
