How to plan the perfect wedding on the Côte d'Azur

Organise a wedding South of France. Many people dream of having a beautiful Provençal or Côte d'Azur event with a lavender field backdrop or views over the Mediterranean sea. That dream can become a reality with the right experts on hand to help you. 
Today we chat with guests who have worked in event organisation planning weddings, organising huge events, setting up the lights and music, designing the look and feel and flower arrangements as well as the all important photographs and gifts.

Hello, I'm Danni. I have been living on the French Riviera for the last ten years and have been working as a freelance event professional for the last eight. I have organised everything from weddings to corporate events to birthday parties, photoshoots and all in between. Recently I have started working with a fantastic start up based in Nice called Native Spaces. Native Spaces is a platform that connects clients with a whole of host of unique and extraordinary event spaces across the Riviera and beyond. Via the platform you can choose your venue, converse with the host directly, receive a quote and pay securely.

Nick Boot Wild Fire DJs

I moved to the South of France with my wife and then baby boy 6 years ago as we wanted a new adventure as well as a lot more sunshine than we were getting in London! I set up Wildfire DJs (or UK DJs Abroad as it was then) at the same time. The aim was to provide a premium DJ, sound and lighting service to couples coming from abroad, predominantly the UK, to marry here in France. People pay an awful lot for their wedding, especially in this region, and I think it's a crime for the day to end with a party that doesn't absolutely blow the roof off. We ensure that the wedding day of each of our clients is remembered as the best party that they and their guests have attended. We provide the speakers and lighting plus organise all the music from the ceremony to the last song of the night. We make the process not only simple but fun and enjoyable too.

I moved to the French Riviera over 18 years ago after finishing a degree in International Business and French! Floristry has always been a passion of mine from a young age and when the opportunity arose to train professionally I jumped at the chance. My floral business - Dandelions & Grace was founded and I create bespoke floral arrangements for weddings, events and yachts from the cote d'azure to Provence. My floristry style is both organic and romantic, growing up in the English countryside has no doubt influenced this!
