I can't believe it. After 8 months of work, a group of us from reddit along with myself were actually able to finish of an entire musical. In retrospect, making an entire 2 act musical was maybe a bit much. If we do it again we'll set our expectations to be a little more reasonable. One thing I never expected was how quickly someone could appear and disappear on the internet. I wrote music and lyrics for at least 2 of these songs. This is the story about how a group of redditors got together and wrote an entire musical. Since I was the one with the experience of putting together a musical demo, I led a lot of the work. We started 8 months ago. We came up with a bunch of ideas and voted on a theme. The winner was horror comedy - the runner up was Norse setting. So we decided to do a horror comedy set in Sweden in the 70s with a Norse monster. We put together the standard plot of a horror comedy, with all the tropes. I was so glad we had the framework. We wanted our characters to be really interesting....
