The Seattle Seahawks are heading to the Super Bowl after a 31-27 victory over the Los Angeles Rams at Lumen Field. Sam Darnold came up big when it mattered most, connecting with Jaxon Smith-Njigba for touchdown before halftime after taking a crushing hit. Kenneth Walker III punched in the opening score, and the offense executed a masterful five-minute drive that helped close out the game. The defense came up big on a critical fourth-and-four stop, with Julian Love and DeMarcus Lawrence dropping into coverage to stuff the Rams attempt—a play Sean McVay dismissed as "luck" in his post-game...

The Seattle Seahawks punched their ticket to Super Bowl 60 with a 31-27 victory over the Los Angeles Rams in the NFC Championship. We're breaking down the critical moments that swung the game. Kenneth Walker's bruising second-quarter run set the physical tone early. Maybe the turning point in the game came when rookie Nick Emmanwori delivered back-to-back pass breakups and forced a Rams punt. That helped to give Sam Darnold just enough time to march downfield and take a 17-13 halftime lead. Darnold's performance included a no-look pass to Jaxon Smith-Njigba—the kind of throw typically...

info_outlineAfter debating the question all week about whether Seahawks fans should cheer for a 49ers loss or a Saints loss, we are left with what might have been the least desirable outcome - a loss for the Seahawks. Seattle lost to the Rams 28-12 in a way that we haven't seen from a Seahawks team in recent memory. A game where they didn't look like they came to play at any point in this game. After giving up 21 first half points, the defense was able to get two turnovers early in the 3rd quarter, but the offense wasn't able to move the ball. A big reason for that is how they were dominated in the trenches, and when Russell Wilson had time to throw the ball there were dropped passes, penalties and other annoyances that kept the offense from moving the ball. The good news is that the Seahawks still control their destiny and maybe this can be a wakeup call going into the next two weeks ahead of the Week 17 matchup with the Niners.
