In this week's show, we pull some of our favorite quotes from press conferences from Abe Lucas, offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak, Sam Darnold and Ernest Jones. It was one quote in particular from Abe Lucas that has Adam really excited for the upcoming season and why our show has now anointed him as the Seahawks offensive ambassador. The message of the Seahawks using a fullback came through loud and clear via Abe as well as Sam Darnold. Klint Kubiak has taken note of...

Seahawks OTAs kick off this week, so as the team gets together there are some key storylines and nuggets that we're going to be on the lookout for. The rookie form of Grey Zabel is high on that list along with the focus on quarterback and what we're hearing about Sam Darnold, versus Drew Lock versus Jalen Milroe. info_outlineFor the first time in franchise history, the Seattle Seahawks are undefeated through the first five games of the season. This week's show starts off with a fair amount of concern over the health of our fellow fans. Just how many more of these kind of endings can Pete Carroll expect us to endure? While the first half against the Vikings wasn't much to get excited about, the ability of the defense to hold Minnesota to only 13 points to start the game may have been the most important factor of that half. The Seahawks only needed five good minutes of offense in the second half to help get the team to their first 5-0 start.
Looking at the offense, DK Metcalf not only had the game-winning touchdown reception, he added another touchdown along with a huge 40-yard catch on fourth down. It was an incredible game for Metcalf. We also highlight some of the biggest moments from Russell Wilson on the final drive of the game, and some of the other members of the Seahawks offense. Looking ahead to the next four games, Seattle has a stretch of three road games in four weeks, and their first run through their NFC West rivals coming up. We discuss the outlook for the team moving forward.
In the second half of the show, we take a look back at two of DCH's biggest predictions that he was able to reverse jinx into existence. Anyone critical of his performance last week owes an apology. Congratulations to Joseph V.T. who won last month's tiny piece of Seahawks stuff and congrats to Tonbridgehawk for winning the pick'em league for Week 5.
Tune in to the final segment of the show to find out a specific aspect of football that Rams quarterback Jared Goff needs to 'Do Better' at, and learn how a popular show on Netflix is giving out advice that is less helpful than the combined efforts of the Flock. Better at life honors go to Alex Smith for his return and to an anonymous Vikings fan who is fed up with his team.
