It's not like we haven't experienced multiple losses to stupid inferior Rams teams in a season before anyway. Even though the Seahawks defense held Stafford and the Rams to just 17 points, is there some blame to be shared by that position group? Shane Waldron seems to struggle situationally, but does it mean he should be fired? We talk about our preferred alternatives.
Even with the loss, the Seahawks are in prime position to take over the NFC West with two matchups against the division rival San Francisco 49ers in the next three weeks. This will be a big challenge and there are similar concerns in this matchup as we saw with the game against the Baltimore Ravens earlier this year. We get into the areas of the game the Seahawks are going to have to improve if they're going to come out ahead versus Frisco.
After the game this week, Geno Smith talked about not getting a play in via his headset. It was part of the reason they chose to run the football in the final seconds. Was there really an issue? Did a play get called or not? One Seahawks defender in particular gets called out to Do Better for a major penalty and Better at Life honors go to a pair of Seahawks for some exceptional moments in Sunday's game against the Rams.
