Sean O’Rourke is a Cyber Liability consultant for Combs & Company, an insurance brokerage and consultancy for small- and mid-sized businesses. Sean works with companies to mitigate the myriad of financial risks posed to their technology and data by internal and external threats. Sean has been in and around IT for almost 30 years, so he has a unique perspective on cyber liability and the potential disruptions faced by businesses in today’s interconnected world. He’s also well versed in the growing cyber regulatory landscape, lending an experienced voice to the growing obligations companies and officers face when it comes to cyber incidents. Sean gives frequent talks on the business impacts of cyber events; he’s a long-time mentor to students at his alma mater, Washington & Lee University, and through Baruch College's Executives on Campus mentoring program; and he’s a CrossFit & Spartan coach.
