info_outlineToday we cover stuff like how AI can help with things like meditation and prayer, as well as providing support for religious and spiritual groups. It can also help with things like creating outlines for podcasts or articles. There are some potential concerns with AI are that it may replace human interaction or that it could possibly promote certain beliefs over others.

What is going on spiritual dope, I'm in here right now, in the studio voice of a generation has been a minute since I've shouted that out voice of a generation here in 2001, e three. I was gonna swear there for a second. And then I was reminded by Finn, that if you swear, within the first eight seconds on YouTube video, or something like that, I'll post this to YouTube as well. That you will, you'll get in trouble. Right? So just kind of like, class, I guess as soon as you walk into class, wait little while before you start swearing anyways. Or don't do it at all, ever. Not how I roll. So today's today's gonna be kind of a fun topic, I think. You know, I'll give you a little bit of a couple things. I know that towards the end of 2022. I took a little bit of a little bit some downtime. And I gave myself some time off from from always doing doing doing doing doing doing so much doing that. I was like this, I need a break, man, I need a pause for a second, sit back reflect why are we doing what we're doing. And then then we get right back at it. So I did that. And while I was doing that I was also listening to I listen to a podcast called Success podcasts hadn't listened to it for a while, like yours, actually. The guy that was on there was doing was doing a podcast about a book that he just released. about YouTube. And some of the stuff kind of hit home, right? Some of the stuff hit home about all the content that we create, and kind of how we just we just kind of get on and we just, we just we don't put as much maybe not as much thought into it. I don't know, I was like, You know what I could, I could do better. I haven't done some of the things that I've wanted to do. And I could do better with what it is. And I'm doing it so I'm sitting there I'm grinding it might mean you know, like my head's grind and basically without oil in there to gear no gear oil. And and that's okay man, like you just kind of start to wonder what what can you can do differently? And how would you do it better and all this other stuff and, and then maybe within like literally the past week. Now this happened, I think in November, where open AI opened up this program called Chat GPT, which allows you to go and, and, you know, use AI, right? And allows you to use AI in some pretty cool, pretty, pretty amazing ways. And we think about AI and I think about artificial intelligence. And if we think about maybe some places that you might have already seen it will shit I'm using it right now with my camera and another program called Nvidia broadcast. And this program is able to pull apart my background and separate me from my background. And blur out my background because nobody wants to see my messy as garage slash awesome studio. It's able to filter out hopefully the fan noise from my computer, it's able to do so many other things, right? That's just a super simple one. What else is Ai do? Siri for lack of better terminology, I think AI we're just we're just at the beginning of it right AI can can do some things that you want it to do that will help you through the ease of technology primarily driven by of course, compute power. So I stumbled into this, stumbled into it and I forget why Oh, because of Dolly if you haven't checked out Dolly, that's another program that is by open AI. We go and give it some prompts and it will spit out some type of image for you very cool stuff. Very interesting. So of course my feed started showing me some more stuff by open AI and along came chat GPT and it's real cool. I'll tell you a couple things. I've only been messing with it for a week I've been losing sleep with it over not over it but with it this past week because of like all the things that it can do and I'm just you know, beginning and figuring out how to use it. I use a here's some other places that are using it to write copy to do marketing to geez, there's so many there's writing tools if you've ever used I used Grammarly and some of these other writing tools that that can help you along. I'm just trying to think of like other stuff. It is so many so many neat things. I use it this week. And a couple of different ways I'll illustrate with you. One was to help me with an Excel macro at work. It just wasn't working. And I was trying to find a string within a whole bunch of text. And it would work sometimes, but not all the time. And I said, Hey, chat, GPT. Can you create some VBA that will help me find this string starts with this starts with 002. And it's eight characters long. And oh, by the way, it needs to be numeric. And it's been awesome code. wasn't right. Spit out some was like, that's not right. And I said, this is this is what's happening. And it spit out it goes, Okay, let me try again. And it spit out some code. I was like, Yeah, okay, so I plug that into my VBA. And lo and behold, it works. It's like, wow, this is awesome. I needed it to do. Another thing was I saw a lot of his spreadsheet related. And this just helped me with my administrative tasks at work. I said, Well, I have to copy the spreadsheet into a workbook inside of Google. How do I make that happen? A lot of people will be like, we'll just do it all and Google bro. I'm like, well, that's not how I get it. And that's not how it works, right? So I get a spreadsheet, I've got to copy and paste it into, you know, my TPS report. And it just, it just takes time and I don't want to do it. Or I don't want to, I don't want to spend my life copying and pasting and posting. Maybe I do, but I don't. And so you know, it spit out a program for me to do that using Google's API's. And it's just, you know, that that's just like the tip of the iceberg. I'll give you one more thing that I used it for this week that I thought was like, super cool. I'm not I'm not the best planner. Not the best at planning out my week. So we, we had been using, like Blue Apron style meals. And they're super great, because they will send you enough food for three meals, they'll give you the recipes, they'll give you the ingredients. And you're like, Okay, I know what I'm eating this week. It's like, Alright, give it no thought I don't want to have to think about you know, oh, shit. It's three o'clock on a Monday. What are we having for dinner tonight? Well, it's not a lot, but it's something that tasks the mind with? Why why do that to yourself? So I went to chat GPT. And I said, Hey, give me three family friendly recipes. One of them including tortillas because Meg wanted to have a case study is that week. And, you know, give me three family friendly recipes gave me three family friendly recipes. One included tortillas, which did have a case of D, F. and D. Then there was a fish recipe. I was like, make that last one not fish because not everybody in the house likes fish. And it gave me another recipe that I forget what it was. And I said, You know what, make it with ground beef. And so it gave me the third recipe. And then I said, Okay, now how many recipes, you know, give me my recipe list. And it did spit out all three that it had selected. For me. That means that it just just disregarded the the two in between. And then I said, Hey, give me a grocery list for this. Oh, and by the way, can you put this into order by departments? And it does and you know, with the amounts and all this other stuff. So just super simple stuff. And I'm working on it to do some other things, I will use it. I'll use it for this podcast, I'll say hey, select, select a headline from here, select a tweet from here, so and it can do so much right. So we're just barely touching on the surface of what it can do. And that's what I mean, when we talk about AI and some of the capabilities. Now, you're like, hey, dawg, why are we why are we talking about this on a spiritual podcast? And, you know, I literally said, I went and I use it for an outline. And I've already like I've uploaded the outline away. But I said, Hey, give me an outline for podcasts on how AI can help bring you closer to God. Well, it spit out some good stuff. Like, here's here's one of the role of AI and spiritual hunting religion. You know, here's how it can help enhance spiritual and religious practices through you got meditation apps, oh
my god, where would we be without calm and headspace? Where would we be without, you know, having some virtual groups online without being able to connect through technology to our support groups? Now, I bring that up because it's true, it's helped me so often. Look at look, it's helping us right now with spiritual dope. You know? So here's another piece, the outline ethical considerations, potential concerns and criticisms about using it replacing human interaction, and the possibility of AI promoting certain beliefs over others. Yeah, that's possible. The AI has already noticed biases, open AI anyways, has already noticed biases within it. There's other things too, like, Hey, what is this? is by using this AI. And this actually came up in a conversation that I was having with somebody I interviewed this week. Do Florence, if you're out there, I thought was a good concern, you know, am I contributing to something that may be our eventual downfall? That's a real fucking great question. Chances are, we don't know. We don't know where we're at with it yet. But I can tell you this, can tell you this, if we can, if we use it, you know, ethically, right? If we use it, for beneficial reasons, think about all of the things that you don't have to do anymore. Like, what do you do really, I look, I love my spreadsheets, I love being able to create reports, I love doing all this other stuff. What if I could do it, I can give the I have the idea. Still gonna have to create and make sure and land the code for isn't enough to have the idea and then be able to execute that idea. And take away the barriers to all that. Think about it? How will you What would you do? And how much like, you know, how much easier Could your life be? If I don't know that I think about like you're writing a book. Think about somebody else, a friend of mine talked about creating a business, a business plan using this technology. It's all pretty powerful. And if you're using it to further benefit humanity. How powerful is that, that we can finally leverage, you're already doing it anyways. You're using Google using your smartphone. And unless you're out in the fucking woods, spinning like a string and stick together, you're already using this stuff. And oh, by the way, if you're not using it, your competition is alright. So it's pretty powerful stuff. I just recommend checking it out saying how can I help you I'd actually love to talk to you about it if you want. But also, let's talk about here. So here's the other part of the outline personal story. So some hands some people have experienced the benefits using AI and their spiritual journey, such as feeling more connected to God or finding new ways to practice their faith. I will tell you, that the beginning of my journey of actually even I highly I would have to say that it played a huge role in you know, my awakening process. And you know, I don't know what else to call it. And that when I was I was going through this kind of like I wanted to know more I wanted to be more connected spirituality well. And so I started watching video after video after video. And you know, YouTube's very good about, you know, where do most people go after watching this video kind of what's the journey look like? So the trail had already been kind of blazed for people that were similar to me, it's a look, it's content that they would like keep kind of feeding off right? So you follow this fucking rabbit hole because it's just there's so a there's so many branches to go but the trail have already been pleased for somebody else who's listening to audio, watch some videos and doing what I was doing on this part of my journey in on a, you know, my spiritual journey. And, without having, I wouldn't have found Alan Watts myself by googling it, it was a recommendation. And it was because of Alan Watts. And his trust in the universe speech, you know, just the universe as though it's another. It's because of neville goddard that I was, you know, again, being led to him through you know, just searches an AI that I fell upon Neville Goddard and had my mind blown on how you can look at God and the Bible in such a different way without these artificial intelligence. Again, just kind of putting putting these pieces together for me. I don't know, who knows if I would have gotten there doesn't really matter, because here I am, right? And so how can it help you? How can it help you to eliminate some of the effort that you're putting into your life that you're putting that you're trying so hard and right? Because I think about it like this. If you have to put a lot of energy out to do something, if you are putting a lot of energy out to do something. And it seems kind of fruitless write, something doesn't seem like it's happening, then maybe you're putting too much energy out there. Maybe you're giving it in this in this instance, you're putting too much thought and effort into it. So what happens if you give it no thought, because you know, that there's a way that that maybe AI can help you. And this is a it's not too far off off the lines of how I was just talking about your subconscious, right? This think of it as like training wheels, on how to better use your subconscious, and spirituality and your connection. I know that sounds a little goofy. But if you've been around me long enough and had these conversations, sometimes it's tough, just like training wheels, somebody talked to me the other day about this stuff. And I said, you know, when I was walking Sophie, and given her walk, and I'm just just barely beginning to wrap my mind around the possibility of this AI like what I can do with it, what you can do it what can be done with it as like, it's kind of like, here's the Akashic records, right? We're supposed to have this Akashic record this, this a fairmile field where we can all step into and think about and see and believe in, that holds the records to everything. Yet, so few of us are capable of accessing it on our own. So what if this is like training wheels for that? You play with it any way that you want, but I will tell you this, if you're putting a lot of thought into things, then you're not letting some thoughts and right. So when I say give it no thought, say what if things were easier, not easier? What if What if you didn't have to think about something, then you would have more time, think about? How can I meditate more, or you eliminate some of the stress that's constricting your ability to express the truth of who you are? I know it sounds like a leap. It doesn't really matter. Just you know, be willing to make a leap and take a look at some of this stuff. Check it out for yourself. You know, AI does provide a lot of capabilities. It provides a lot of, you know, different applications and different ways that it can help you we talked about headspace and we talked about the meditation apps. What about sound generators? Right? You've got that you do have some ethical considerations. Can this be used for ill? Absolutely any tool in the wrong hands can be used for ILL shit, guys, you use a hammer to hammer a nail or cross somebody's skull. And I know that that's not very spiritual. But look, any tool can be used for the incorrect and poor poor ways this terrible grammar was a I could fix that for me. And then, you know, look, I've, I've experienced it helping me. It's gone through it's helped me in ways that you know, I didn't think about until shit. This outline was laid out for me and just said, Hey, let's connect these dots. Let's put it together. What does that look like? And I've always found that when you're prompted if I asked you a question that you probably hadn't been asked before, you're able to come up with like this really cool answer. And sometimes this right, right, like it's just super powerful. Something comes through for you that you've been looking for. And as we ask more questions to the universe, through AI or any other way more things start to come through. Just imagine what it could do for you as you go through your own life and apply it to any of your practices. But how could it how can AI help bring you closer to God? Alright guys, take it easy.
