Dr. Crutcher is the twin sister of Terrence Crutcher who was killed by Betty Shelby on September 16, 2016, Terence Crutcher was a 40-year-old motorist, was shot and killed by police officer Betty Jo Shelby in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was unarmed during the encounter, in which he was standing near his vehicle in the middle of a street with a police helicopter hovering overhead
Dr. Crutcher is a perennial voice in America regarding Police Reform. Dr. Crutcher is the Founder of the Terrence Crutcher Foundation. “The mission of the Terence Crutcher Foundation is to engage the community, law enforcement, and policymakers in creating and sustaining an approach to prevent, identify and address issues of inequity pertaining to minority communities in Tulsa, Oklahoma and around the country.
