How did Idaho get Constitutional Carry passed? We have a very special interview with ID House Rep. Christy Zito, the woman largely responsible for the passage of Constitutional Carry in that state. During our Brownells Bullet Points, Paul considered drum magazines, their pros and cons. What is available to the modern shooter? What is new from MagPul?  For this week’s SOTG Homeroom from Crossbreed Holsters, we once more consider the importance of being dangerous on demand. A woman was attacked in Washington State by a felon released early using the Kung Flu excuse. Once more, the state...

Student of the Gun Radio

The sight of a toy gun during a recent Zoom meeting schooling session was enough to prompt the dispatch of the police to one Pennsylvania home. During our Warrior of the Week segment, Professor Paul one more is called upon to explain how the good cops cannot fix the problem of bad cops. How did we get to this situation in the United States of America? Was it an accident or was it deliberate?  Also, have you read the new article or watched the new video about...

Homeschool Your Kids | SOTG 953 show art Homeschool Your Kids | SOTG 953

Student of the Gun Radio

It is not that difficult to homeschool your kids. Most of America should have figured out by now that homeschooling is a viable option. In the show notes, we have a link to an article that explains how. Every parent in the United States of America was given a slap on their face as the cowardly Sheriff’s Deputy, who hid while children were being murdered, was given his job back. This story is beyond insulting. During our Brownells Bullet Points, Paul addresses a serious consideration for each and every person who would participate in any shooting activity.  We have a SOTG Homeroom for...

We are witnessing a positive trend, doctors are fighting back against the lies and misinformation that the media and state are promoting. We applaud this effort and will let you hear what one doctor had to say. Captain Kirk, William Shatner, is fuming angry after Alberta police overreacted with guns drawn to a teenage girl wearing a Star Wars costume during a May the Fourth promotion. If you begin a sentence with, “I’m a patriot, but…” we have some bad news for you. We all learned that everything before the word “but” is toro caca, bovine excrement if you will. If you cannot say “I am a patriot” without qualifying or making an excuse, you really are not.  We open the show with a “Go Team” Moment from Michigan. The patriots in Michigan have had enough of the dictator tyrant who calls herself “governor”.  Stand up and be counted as free men and women, not slaves. As always, we have a Brownells Bullet Points for you as well as a SOTG Homeroom...

The U.S. House of Representatives passed a major gun control bill. If signed into law, firearms ownership will no longer be a right, but instead a privilege of the state.

Our SWAT Fuel Warrior of the Week has a question about firearms training. Is there an LP (linear progression) program for shooting? That is a great question. Listen louder for the answer.

During our Quiet Time Moment from Silencershop.com, the Professor has another reminder and suggestion for required reading. This book should be read by every man and woman who believes in a Constitutional Republic.

From www.breitbart.com:

During the hearings for universal background checks, House Democrats rejected a Republican proposal to alert U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) if an illegal alien is discovered via a background check for a firearm.

Fox News reported that the universal background check bill, H.R. 8, passed the House Judiciary Committee on a 23–15 party-line vote. Rep. Greg Steube (R-FL) had proposed an amendment to H.R. 8, which would have required a notification be sent to law enforcement “when an individual attempting to purchase a firearm fails a federal background check.”

Steube commented of the Democrats’ refusal to incorporate his amendment, “In rejecting this amendment, the Democrats have shown their true colors.” He continued, “It is clear they are not interested in preventing gun violence or stopping the illegal purchase of firearms, but rather they are only interested in limiting the rights of law-abiding citizens to advance their own political agenda.”

From www.cbsnews.com:

The Democratic-controlled House on Wednesday approved a measure requiring federal background checks for all firearms sales and transfers, the first major gun control legislation considered by Congress in nearly 25 years. Democrats called the 240-190 vote a major step to end the gun lobby's grip on Washington and begin to address an epidemic of gun violence, including 17 people who were killed at a Florida high school last year.

The bill is the first of two that Democrats are bringing to the House floor this week as part of an effort to tighten gun laws following eight years of Republican control. The other bill would extend the review period for background checks from three to 10 days.
