In the early 1980's, KGB/DST Lieutenant Colonel Vladimir Vetrov provided nearly 4,000 secret documents to French intelligence. In doing so, Vetrov revealed a massive, intricate Soviet effort to conduct targeted industrial espionage throughout the Western world.
