The Alan Sanders Show
I wanted to open with a quick recap of what a few other’s also thought about the President’s address to the joint session of Congress. As with the polling, the vast majority is in support of the Trump agenda and were disgusted at how the Democrats could not support anyone or anything outside of more money for Ukraine. Looks like Hunter Biden is going broke. Who would have thought that as soon as his dad was no longer in a place of influence, he’d be out of work? President Trump met with a group of survivors of being held hostage by Hamas in the wake of the October 7, 2023 massacre. Right...

Our show focuses almost entirely on President Trump’s address of Congress, which we might as well call the State of the Union. While I could focus solely on policy points and comments, which I do bring up a few, the most important takeaway comes early when Trump sets up the Democrats in a Catch-22. Right after Rep. Al Green (D-CA) beclowned himself and had to be removed by the Sergeant-at-Arms, Trump made an observation. He said it didn’t matter what he brings, says or does, they will not stand, applaud, smile or cheer. He then spent the rest of the speech showing the world that the...

We open with over 23 Democrats showing us how there is no room for freedom of thought on the Left as they recite their propaganda scripts ahead of tonight’s Presidential address to Congress. Our Commerce Secretary explains how Trump is using reciprocal tariffs to get to a “fair” market rather than one that takes advantage of the United States. CNN’s Scott Jennings suggested, a few days ago, that President Zelenskyy was taking advice from the wrong group of clowns and needed to pick better advisors – someone other than Senator Chris Murphy (D-CT). Then, after the EU spent the weekend...

We open with some other news that dropped on Friday from the Atlanta Fed suggesting first quarter GDP would drop to -1.5% instead of the expected increase of +2.3%. We look to economy expert Peter St. Onge for his take and a reminder that part of GDP is government spending and Trump has been busy cutting it’s size. We then spend time on the continued discussion of the Oval Office exchange Friday between President Trump and President Zelenskyy. Those on the rational and logical side, regardless of party, saw Zelenskyy make a huge error in how he conducted himself. Those who are emotionally...

Here is my Saturday show where I spent the bulk of the time breaking down how Zelenskyy completely messed up the peace deal. He was not ambushed or bullied. He was the one who acted like a petulant teenager, talking over both President Trump and VP JD Vance in full view of the watching public. He wanted to renegotiate terms and throw out harmful language, which Trump knows will create more problems in trying to get President Putin to the table. It was so bad on Zelenskyy's part that even Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) was on Trump's side. As we close the show with our Vulcan Mind-meld segment,...

We open the show with what appeared to be egg on the faces of both AG Pam Bondi and FBI Director Kash Patel. Fox Legal Analyst Greg Jarrett says the SDNY FBI office opened themselves up for both investigation and possible criminality. And, I think that was the plan all along. I’ve said many times, when problems arise on the Left, if it goes to the FBI, it will likely be swept under the rug. Where are we with the Butler, PA assassination attempt? Federal employees continue to fill the news cycle with their wails of harassment over an email. So, I quote a private sector trucker on X who goes...

We open the show with a piece from Christopher Rufo, adding credence to the theory I talked about yesterday, about intentionally seeding the Federal government with people who are mentally unwell. General Flynn revealed that whistleblowers are coming out of the wood-work and criminality is going to be highlighted very soon, starting with former FBI Director James Comey. Rep. Tim Burchett (R-TN) wanted to know if USAID money went to any other terrorist organizations besides the Taliban. Turns out we have funded dozens of them. When asked about safeguards, you will shocked to hear, as one...

We open the show amazed at the number of overly qualified village idiots who have found a home inside the Democrat leadership. We get a zinger from Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) followed immediately by Sen. Chuck “You” Schumer (D-NY). Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) reveals the latest scheme by the Democrats in the House to take away Constitutional power from the President and put it in their own hands. At President Trump’s first Cabinet meeting, he had Elon Musk explain what the role o DOGE is and how it’s going. They also took questions from the press. Tulsi Gabbard said they have...

We open with a run of stories from our friends in Western Europe the proves VP JD Vance was right over the target when he voiced our concerns over their embracing of censorship. But, not all nations have advocated for this form of neo-Marxism. We get a great sound bite from the PM of Italy, Giorgia Meloni about freedom and liberty. We learn that after no less than 70 articles from the NY Times telling us the when Justice Sam Alito’s wife flew their American flag upside down, it means you support the J6 insurrectionists. That is, until a group in Yosemite put one up on the mountain upside...

Our show opens with a couple of rabbit trails related to working outside, sunshine and Vitamin D. Then I open with a monologue about how we have heard, for decades, how presidents and members of Congress would run on promises to reform the Federal government. But, few have done more than make barely noticeable dents. That all changed with Donald Trump the first time, the machine did all it could to break him and ruin him. Now, back in office, we understand why he is moving with such urgency. He has to dismantle the bureaucracy and it’s underpinnings now or we may never get another chance....
info_outlineToday opens with my explanation for why there was no show yesterday. So, today, will be a bit longer as I combine the show prep I did across two days.
Joe Biden once again repeated the tall-tale of his time traversing China with Xi Jinping. Then he began his angry yelling at the audience. This is what happens with people in the midst of their decline into dementia.
A new report from the New York Post reveals NYC has spend $5 billion dollars on illegals. Seems there is never money for homeless or veterans or the border wall, but there is plenty for non-Americans who broke the law to come here.
Looks like members of the Press, protected under the 1A, are really upset that another part of the 1A is being used to allow Elon Musk to chat openly with Donald Trump. Cleve Wootson literally asked White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre what the President or the Administration was going to do to stop that broadcast from taking place.
The Harris-Walz team is buying Google Ads and describing them as news headlines. They are not just paying off influencers to make an ad without calling it that, they are not using Google to make it look like ads are news stories.
Time magazine decided to put a hero piece together for Kamala Harris, but they have to admit, inside the story, that she denied a request for an interview for that story. How is that not just another campaign ad disguised as a puff piece designed to sell covers?
We then spend a good amount of time pulling sound bites from the over two hour conversation between Elon Musk and Donald Trump. They cover a wide range of subjects and ends on a great comment about how there are several things all Americans should be able to agree upon that are not party related.
The Harris-Walz campaign was invited to do the same thing on X, but they turned it down and then put out a crybaby post decrying the unfairness of it. They then asked for a campaign donation out of it.
CNN’s Dana Bash selectively edited a piece from the conversation to make it sound like Trump and Musk were making light of the atomic bombs dropped in Japan. So, to show you how devious this is, I play the much longer cut to give you the full context of the conversation.
Now that Kamala Harris is stealing the “no tax on tips” plank from Donald Trump, KJP was asked if Biden would sign such a bill. In a total like, we were told Joe Biden has always supported that. Well, if that’s the case, why haven’t they already passed that?
With that, let’s lighten the mood! My buddy Jim Gossett took my suggestion to heart and brings us a parody song about Kamala Harris put to the tune of Karma Chameleon.
Gov. Tim Walz (D-MN) is proud of his service. Great. No one has an issue with his service. The issue is him LYING about it. That’s the real problem.
As we start to wind down, you know it’s getting bad when CNN is wanting to know when the Harris-Walz is going to have a press conference. As much as a spokesperson tried to dodge it, it wasn’t working.
Finally, CNN’s Kaitlan Collins was on with Stephen Colbert to bash Donald Trump. However, as Colbert tried to sell CNN as an objective outlet, the audience burst out in laughter. Collins, feeling awkward, asked if that was supposed to be a laugh line? That is actually a rhetorical question.
