info_outline84% of babies don’t sleep through the night
Babies wake for hunger, comfort & a whole host of other legitimate reasons
It is normal and natural for them to wake to meet these needs
Mamas & Papas do an incredible job around the clock to ensure their babies are loved and nourished
Knowing all of this, it is surprising that one of the most common (autopilot/conditioned) questions to ask a new Mama is if their baby is “sleeping through the night”
What’s even more surprising and concerning is that somewhere along the way “sleeping through the night” became an unrealistic goal pushed on Mamas, when for many of us this is not actually the goal - secure connection and love is - and we achieve this every night through tending to the needs of our babe
