The Art Episode 3 - Chris Mancini

The most powerful art has an unbridled creativity and a focus at the same time.”

Writer, comic, filmmaker, performer and podcaster, Chris Mancini joined The Art from the depths of fiber optic cable to talk about his art and experience.

Chris and his partner Graham Elwood produce the Comedy Film Nerds Podcast and he was part of the team that produced the Los Angeles Podcast Festival for 6 years.

His films include a horror feature film titled Asylum, the short film Hitclown and Ear Buds, the Podcasting Documentary. If you enjoy podcasts or heart warming stories or comedy, or any of these things, check out Ear Buds.

He is also author of the book Pacify Me: A Handbook for the Freaked Out New Dad.  And, he has a NEW graphic novel just released titled Long Ago and Far Away, with illustration by Fernando Pinto. Check it out at www.comedyfilmnerds.com

Chris talks about his first short film titled Another Blob Movie, made with David Schmidt and friends at age 13. Check out this impressive stop motion animation on You Tube.

Chris also writes, performs and produces a serial podcast called Conversations from The Abyss.

While it would seem that Chris is the voice of reason on a project, when it comes to art and life he’s often the creative voice saying: “you know what would be great…lets go for it!”
