Cinema Psychos - A Movie Review & Comedy Podcast

What happens when The Terminator tries to go goofy, and sentimental...you get Junior. Junior from 1994 is a movie that must have been designed by commitee and with a photoshopped version of the poster first. This Ivan Reitman comedy about a mad scientist testing experimental fertility drugs on himself falls short. Is it the lack of comedic characters? The plain wrong ethics at play? or simply the nightmare fuel scene of Arnold Schwarzenegger's CGI face on an infant. Take your pick, there are a lot of dirty diapers to sort through with this cinematic turd. We Want Your Feedback Help us shape...

This week, we are joined by The Art Director for The upcoming Eerie Horror Fest, Monster Mark Kosobucki as we review one of George A. Romero's early classics, The Crazies.  A movie that seriously has a totally different meaning in light of the past few years with the Covid-19 Pandemic, The Crazies is a tale of a small town in Western Pennsylvania that becomes infected by a bio weapon from the US Government and said government's attempt to quite it down to keep order.

This movie takes jabs at a government that at the time was in the midst of a crisis of credibility due to the Vietnam War, the fight for Civil Rights, and the growing news of corruption within the Nixon White House.

But does this movie hold up as a cautionary tale and a gem within Romero's Filmography?  We'll find out today!
