I’m sharing my vision for the future of fertility care, and why it’s time for a major shift in how we support people who are trying to conceive. Fertility struggles affect 1 in 6 couples worldwide, yet far too many people face stigma, delays in diagnosis, and fragmented care. I believe we need a new model, one that puts patients first, embraces technology, and recognizes fertility as a vital part of our overall health. I’ll walk you through how I think fertility care can evolve to be more proactive, inclusive, and empowering. From early testing and education to AI-driven support and...

I want to start a PCOS revolution, and to start that, I've started calling it HOPE syndrome instead. PCOS stands for polycystic ovary syndrome. Many people interpret it to mean you have big cysts on your ovaries, but that's not true at all. When I hear PCOS I think of it as a call to, &ldquoPlease Confirm this Ovary Syndrome”. So much is misunderstood about PCOS! There are a number of factors to take into account when deciding whether it’s time to see a fertility specialist. Of course there are a lot more details about each of these items in the podcast episode today, but here is a sneak peek of the 6 reason that may be telling you it’s time to see a fertility expert: 1. info_outlineThe other thing that happens when the word "decreased" gets mixed up for "depleted," is that many people next assume that getting a DOR diagnosis means that they will need to use donor eggs in order to get pregnant. This is also not true! With DOR, you still have eggs, you just don't have as many eggs as you once did.
In this episode, I'll be sharing more about DOR. At some point, every one with a uterus will go through it. I'll talk about when egg reserves tend to decline, what tests you can take to determine your egg reserve levels, what you can do to keep your eggs healthy, and when you might consider using donor eggs.
