info_outlineAt the beginning of 2024 I made a big switch. I fully leaned into my feminine energy – not just at home but in business too. It worked beautifully in my personal life and brought more balance and ease. But when I stepped back from making big business decisions and assumed my husband would take the lead everything started to fall apart. By the end of the year, we were burnt out, frustrated, and questioning the direction of our business.
Today, I’m sharing the biggest mistake I made this past year and the lesson I learned about feminine leadership. We’ll talk about why true leadership isn’t about choosing between masculine and feminine energy, but knowing when to shift between them. And for my fellow women in the trades—you need to hear this. Your team wants you to lead. They need your confidence, your action, and your vision. Let’s talk about how to step into your full potential while still embracing your unique strengths as a woman in this industry.

[02:10] Masculine energy is usually described as a doing energy. It's action-oriented, focused, and strong. Feminine energy is more of a being state. It's nurturing, creative, and collaborative. Both of these energies exist in men and women.
[03:07] In 2024, I was leaning into my feminine energy in all aspects of my life. It was great at home.
[04:02] I was on a journey to get more in touch with my feminine side. We had worked with a marriage coach in 2023, and he was encouraging me to get more into a feminine state.
[05:06] I was the one who wanted to get the HVAC license, then I took a step back and let my husband handle everything. He was feeling burnt out, overwhelmed, and resentful. He had wanted me to take the lead with the department.
[06:13] There is no right or wrong answer for your relationship. Women need to be confident in their masculine energy.
[07:05] Women have the potential to lead and give our team the tools they need to be successful.
[08:02] I'm grateful that we have clarity, and I have direction and can move forward from here. Feminine energy is about knowing when to let go and when to step up and take action.
[09:03] Ladies don't be afraid to be the badass that you were created to be. Be vulnerable, take action, and lead your team to victory!
