Hi Listeners, Arhen Belisle, he's original alright. There's the disabled factor, plus how he makes fun of the non-disabled for how they act and treat people like him. And doing it all with typing on a Bluetooth speaker and microphone? Impressive or not? Funny or not? Let's hear the review some of the brain injury survivors that just saw his show on this episode we call 'Comedy ? Sympathy ? or BOTH.

info_outlineHi Holiday Listeners,
For some, preparing a tasty and baked treat seems as easy as pie, but for others the very thought of it feels like pie in the sky. Our connection to food goes well beyond basic survival and nutritional needs, with the colours, textures, flavours and satisfaction of nourishing our souls as well as our bodies.
But bakingl can be complicated. Even after the ingredients have been purchased and prepared, following a recipe, timing things right and remembering to carry out key tasks uses the very abilities that are so often impacted by brain injury. This can lead to a range of difficulties and frustrations, making baking seem impossible or even causing a hazard in the kitchen.
Today we speak to Brain Injury Survivors from The Bluesheet Clubhouse to find out about what baking treats they love at Holiday time. We even have baker Ashley share a favourite recipe with us including all the steps.
Here is a link to where Ashley got her recipes.
