In 2013 she launched a popular comedy video series called "Inside Dating" which is online at the MadeMen.com web site. We'll be talking about what it's like to come to L.A. to pursue an acting career, the importance of staying true to who you are in the midst of trying to forge a career in this business and for you actresses listening we talk a bit about some of the challenges that pertain to females in the business that us guys just don't have to deal with.

Just a caution if you're the parent of a child actor. The dating videos are funny but risqué and not appropriate for kids, so just be aware of that.

On Parks and Rec they couldn't have been more welcoming and wonderful...all the crew, the writers, all the actors, everyone is so happy to be there and it just permeates through everything...I've never been a part of a more wonderful situation.

I am blessed to get to talk to a lot of great people, sitting behind my trusty Heil PR40 here in Austin, Texas. People I'd likely never meet, otherwise. It's one of the really fun things about producing a podcast.

Update on Westish: The Web Series

If you listen to the comments I make following each podcast you may remember a couple of months back I said I was going to be working on a web series. That situation did work out and I was blessed to be asked to step into the cast of WESTISH, a series produced for internet distribution.

WESTISH shot on location, mostly at Enchanted Springs Ranch near Boerne, TX. Here's a shot I took of one of the permanent sets showing the town church.

I have a series regular role-playing a character named Damien Ryle the town preacher who also happens to be the town drunk. Please VISIT THE WESTISH FACEBOOK PAGE, if you will and give us a 'Like.'

While you're there you can scroll down the page and find the new trailer for the pilot we shot at Enchanted Springs Ranch in Boerne, TX. What a great location that is with multiple old west town structures, both practical and facades.

I had a blast shooting this project. The producer-writer-director and one of the lead actors is Grayson Berry.
