Russian language speaking is made easy with mini-stories in my TPRS Effortless Russian Podcast! Welcome! Добро пожаловать!

My name is Daria Molchanova, I am a Russian professor and certified Russian language teacher. You might know me from my Slow Russian Podcast and the Real Russian Club YouTube channel.

I love using TPRS (Teaching Proficiency through Reading and Storytelling) for teaching Russian for several reasons:

1) TPRS is an interactive and engaging teaching method that often involves storytelling and real-life situations, making the learning process more enjoyable for everyone.

2) It places a strong emphasis on developing communication skills. It helps students learn to communicate in Russian by using the language in context, which can be motivating and practical.

3) TPRS reduces language learning anxiety by providing a comfortable and supportive environment in which students can practice their Russian language skills without fear of making mistakes.

How to use the lessons from this podcast?

Each episode consists of a small text starting at level A0 and getting more and more difficult as we go.

Read the text and English translation if you need to.

Listen to my questions and ANSWER OUT LOUD. Don't be surprised if the questions seem too simple. That's the whole point – to make you speak Russian automatically, without thinking!

Check out the show notes regularly for little grammar tips and links.
